I'm Back (sort of)

Well, after a fairly long hiatus, we at GWhizkids are back. As my esteemed fellow correspondent, Trajan, has noted, I have moved 800 miles (well, mostly moved -- we're not done yet) and endured a 4 day hospitalization for gallstones (in the middle of my house move). Wheee!

I'm going to try to get back on the wagon with alt-ctrl-del. However, blogging is quite inertial: when you are on a roll, it's easy to keep it up. Conversely, though, when you've been away for awhile, it's hard to pick it up again. It'll probably be the fall before I really get back into the swing of it again.

There's lots of material out there to blog about, so that'll at least make it easier.
